oh yeah sorry forgot the mention, pockets not too deep i would be willing to pay $400 per wheel but would prefer under $300. There was at one point a nice set of koesi K1 for sale on tirerack that were light and inexpensive (though not sure the offset) but they dont appear to be available any more. trouble finding them. But they were under 17lbs and 250 a wheel.

Your best bet may be to look for a used set of volks or wedsports. There is also a number of wheels around 19 lbs that are fairly cheap. TSW has a few and Enkei has more than just the RPF1. Do some looking. Those Koesi look very much like RPF1's just a slightly different spoke.

what i really dont like about the RPF1 is that fat rim and the spokes not going out to the edge of the wheel. It makes a 17" look like a 16 or 15. Otherwise the price and weight are perfect.

AP2 with CR shocks and Swift SpecR springs. Looking to run 17x8 +54 and 17x9 +63 with a 225/45 and 255/40. Will it need a roll?

You should be ok but you will have to watch the fronts. Tears will be fine but since the front turns it can catch the fender. Just watch for signs of rubbing on the tabs or liner.

Manga thanks for all the great advice on wheel fitting, you da man!

I got to pull the trigger on my 18" soon. At least I have decided on that much. I want to run 265" square. Ideally 18X10 around +40. I have downforce fenders in the front which are 30mm over. But if my tire wheel combo does not fit there is no rolling or pulling! I am pretty sure 18X9.5 would fit but it is hard to tell.

The rear is open as yet. Could I fit 18X10 just by rolling? Would I need to go to over fenders(ASM)? Pretty sure I would have to.

Then I have to find wheels that fit over a StopTech BBK. Probably some Volk ZE-40(18X10)+39, VOlk CE28n(18X9.5)+47

I have extended lug nuts so I figure to get a +40 wheel and add 3 to 5 mm shims if I have to. Do not really want to run shims at all but I think I can get away with under 5mm.

You are actually doing something similar to me. I am going to run downforce fronts and voltex rears and 17x10 +35 all around with a 255. I think with the +40 you should be fine with a 265 you will likely need a bit more camber. The rear will need some kind of over fender though.

17x9+35 upfront with fenders trimmed -2.5 camber which I believe is the max stock I don't want to stretch tires much but will if it's what I have to do till I get wider fenders
