I heard the oem glass is pretty weak too, any brand i should know that works best?

K & B autoglass is the place to go. I just had mine replaced by them a week ago. If u mention s2ki they will send out one of their most experienced techs to install. From what I saw oem is still the best. My insurance didn't cover oem so I used ppg. Their number is 480-229-4748

I used K&B twice, no problemos. I used OEM glass just because I had a non-OEM replacement once in my RX-8 and that glass had pretty bad distortion right in my line of sight. Ever since I always go OEM.

 

K&B the best. NEVER do Safelite. Had one Safelite POS installed and I could barely see through it when heading toward a low sun.
