Since I have a calculator NEW points standing (only WDC as Ferrari won all 13 races now)

1. KR 92 points(6 wins)
2. FM 87 points (7 wins)

^ so this is KR's best chance at the WDC...

I'm still pulling for FM!

Is this for real??? I just saw it on Planetf1.com!!!!
It seems so, but we should get a formal FIA statement soon as Thursday is just about over in Paris now. The news is so shocking I'm having a hard time believing it, although I want to.

I say Ron D retires, sells McLaren to Mercedes who has expressed a desire to buy it. Mercedes throws away the name McLaren, now McLaren no longer exists and Mercedes registers a new team with the FIA called Team Mercedes. LH and FA are drivers and gosh, what a surprixse, the cars look just like this.

If the evidence was truly damning enough for that kind of penalty, McLaren really really messed up. Wow. This is terrible for F1.

I don't see it that way...I think it is good for F1.

If McLaren were left off, I think THAT would have been terrible for F1 as it would have really lowered the bar on what is considered sporting...
