Since I have a calculator NEW points standing (only WDC as Ferrari won all 13 races now)
1. KR 92 points(6 wins)
2. FM 87 points (7 wins)

^ so this is KR's best chance at the WDC...

I say Ron D retires, sells McLaren to Mercedes who has expressed a desire to buy it. Mercedes throws away the name McLaren, now McLaren no longer exists and Mercedes registers a new team with the FIA called Team Mercedes. If McLaren were left off, I think THAT would have been terrible for F1 as it would have really lowered the bar on what is considered sporting...
