Ran mine with NO PLATES for almost three years before I figured I'd actually use my personalised plate, and even then only in the rear. I have gotten two no front plate tickets. Oh yeah, I left my dealer stickers on, and STILL have it in my front window...seems to prevent most attention regarding my lack of a front plate 'cause a cop has to also see the rear to realise i have my plates already.

Depends on two things:

1) If you live in Fremont/ Milpitas, a definite YES you will get a ticket

2) If your car is yellow, YES you are more likely...haha

Just ask my bro who has a yellow IS300 and he's been stopped numerous times and on one occassion, had 7 fix it tickets for stupid things such as no corner reflectors and car too low (his car isn't even all that fixed up!)

So no front plate = risky in easy bay at least.
