I bought my EVO less than a week ago with 4k miles in perfect condition for $23,500....you will get no action on your car unless your around $23k-$24k. [/QUOTE]

Did you buy it from a dealer or from a private party? That's a great deal!! Congrats!

I go back and forth on the Evo...

On the one hand, I would enjoy the AWD, power, and hanlding, and it is well priced. I could drive it on days when the S2000 has to stay in the garage and I really don't need the capacity of the Land Rover.

On the other hand, I really don't know if I could give up a roadster drop-top for a small eco-sedan body style. And now that I'm seeing more of them (three in the costco parking lot just the other day) I continue to wish it had a little more attractive styling to it.

I suppose if I could pick up a lightly used white one, with low spoiler and sunroof for under $24K I'd go for it.

EVO has a wonderful turbocharged engine, and a wonderful all-wheel-drive system, BUT it also has a boxy econo-box body and looks like chow compared to the S2000.

I must say that the EVO and the S are 2 different cars. Both being awesome in their own ways. I own an S and my dad owns an EVO.

Were the S2000's modded? I imagine it would take a pretty strong S2000 to run faster on a long straight than an Evo.

Nice car. Are you going to fix it up at all ? A little Vishnu tuning, Ultimate Racing, or RMR action ?

basically stock S2000 with aftermarket exhaust...which usually gains no real horsepower.... the evo only has 5 speeds... 1-4 are about even with the S2000 but then there is a huge gap between 4th and 5th on the evo..... the S2000 redlines at 142 in 5th vs 165 for the evo........ so anything where the evo hits 5th gear takes a lifetime to accelerate........... which is why the S2000 is actually faster at the end of the straight....
