Is radar detector illegal in CA?

radar detectors are not illegal to own or sell. they are illegal to use.
think of it like cigarettes. it's not illegal to sell them, but minors can't own or buy them. kind of stupid but that's the govt. for you.

jammers act differently from detectors. when a police officer scans a jammer frequency, it displays phony numbers which are way off your actual speed. In my opinion, jammers are bad products because I believe it will give a reading of a mph speed that could be higher than your actual speed!-just my opinion
