bhp and ps don't directly translate into one another.

morover, many jdm cars make more power simply because JDM gasoline is different from US gas (91 octane is the minimum US rating for super and we have different environmental hurdles, for example).

For sure it'll be over 20k.

They wouldn't give me the cost, but with everything that was said, I'd say probably closer to $25k.

I can't imagine paying more for a Civic Type-R than RSX-s.

I no longer doubt that the CTR is coming, so I'm just wondering what they'll do with the RSX now?? Honda has always said they would not bring over the CTR because it would take away market share from the RSX-S. I'm hoping that they will add about 15-20 hp to the RSX-S or, or perhaps bring over a type-r version of it?
I for one like the looks of the Si, I LOVE the seats, I would gladly trade the ones in the RSX for the Si seats. The Si ('02 - '03) always just felt "adequate", like that was what a civic should be. Never felt fast, or even sporty to me. I just liked the shifter and seats!

Totally agree with the fact that a type R verison of the RSX would increase the revenue for Acura big time w/o hurting the share of the RSX when the CTR is launched.
