So your brother's friends sisters GTO get's 28mpg, real good source newbie. And I hear your SRT-4 does better? Why don't you bother people on the SRT-4 site.
Why do you keep your head so far up your ass? Is it for the warmth, or the familiarity of being in a man's ass?

The answer is YES you can feel the VTEC engage in the Honda S2000.

It does not throw you back in your seat but you can definitely hear it and also feel a light shove.

≠ is "option" + "=" on a Mac. Not sure what the mapping is on Windows, but just like you can hit shift to get different symbols, you can do the same with Macs and option (option+shift+= is

18 is impressive indeed, I have a buddy with an FD as well. Unfotrunately it barely ever gets driven as he goes to Tennessee and it sits here in VA. He has an intake PFS Turboback, stand alone, and boost controller all tuned to a number I can't recall at the moment. He couldn't manage 18mpg he got more like 14, yikes.

Wow, somebody didn't understand the question. As to the question, yes, there is a noticiable change in the S2000 engine output at full throttle when the engine crosses 6k rpm.
Sorry, I don't think turbo boost feels like vtec. I guess you didn't understand my post.

You must not have owned may sports cars. Not may cars that do under 6 seconds 0-60 get 25ish mpg city (under real world conditions) and are capable of high 20's on the highway.

Rx7s with twin turbos probably get less than 10mpg, and RX-8 under real life conditions are around 14mpg.

EDIT: 14 is a little exagerated but it's a car the same weight and power as the S2000 and:

"What an amazing engine. BUT, it gets lousy gas mileage (15-20 mpg is normal). "

You do know you posted a link to RX-8s right?

Also, my turbo RX-7 got more than 10 mpg.
