I agree to say he sucked at rallying in isolation is incorrect. What I should have said was, he sucked at rallying compared to his undoubted natural talent at circuit racing. Its realtive

I would put him in a similar bracket to Matt Wilson in terms of his rallying ability - you're right a national champion sort of level, certainly not world class.

I've done both and understand that they are entirely different disciplines.

I think Kimi will be good for F1, when on form he is incredibly fast ... I still think Renault (Lotus) were pretty smart to sign him, hopefully on a performance related basis

Sky Sports has confirmed its commentary and presenting team for its Formula One channel in the UK.

Martin Brundle, who announced his switch from the BBC last week, will be joined by ex-5Live commentator David Croft during qualifying and races, while ex-F1 driver Anthony Davidson will also leave 5Live and will sub in for Brundle during practice sessions.

Ted Kravitz and Natalie Pinkham are also joining Sky Sports from the BBC and will work in their familiar roles as pit lane reporters. Kravitz is lined up to present a magazine show with Sky Sports News' Georgie Thompson, while Simon Lazenby will be the lead presenter at races.

Steve Rider will also host a series of interviews with the F1's big names on the channel.
Georgie Thompson , and Steve Rider, why exactly? But apart from that sounds all good to me.

Interesting that DC hasn't been offered a job at Sky. I think his commentary input is quite valuable.

Or maybe he turned them down?

Or maybe he can't get out of his contract with the BBC.

Brundle and Coulthard have been good together, and as Brundle was Coulthard's manager, you'd think they'd go as a package. I wonder who the BBC will have now?

Probably because he still can't pronounce Vettel ... he infuriates me with his feeble attempts!

Sounds like Brundle is back in the pundit role rather than the main commentator which he moved to this year on the Beeb. I thought he was pretty good at it, but maybe he preferred being the pundit.

All the BBC need to do now to totally screw up their F1 coverage is hire James "Stop the Cock" Allen to replace Brundle

Looks like Sky have pinched a few more names from the BBC team.

David Croft
Anthony Davidson
Martin Brundle
Ted Kravitz
