I think of the newer venues this is a good one. There was an enthusiastic and noisy crowd, and the circuit produced some good racing, especially on lap 1.

Many of the Euro circuits are pretty boring too, Silverstone for one, Monaco for another.

Dembo summed up the Vettel situation very well. How come he never has KERS issues and Webber has so many?

Only interesting bit was seeing Button and Hamilton on the 1st couple of laps.

See I disagree with the circuit claim, the problem is those feking great long straights. Forget RBR for a minute and think about the rest of the race, where did anything happen? .... exactly, it didn't, there was nothing of note, no overtaking no drama, any run offs were dealt with by the stupidly wide run off areas, the track itself is so wide that 3x3 cars are possible as was shown at the first corner (which was actually exciting I have to admit) but that was it. Very sad these new circuits in my view.

As my mate Baz put it, the only interesting thing of note was watching Natalie Pinkham with the pit crew pre-race!(the benefits of SKY )

No straights, and narrow, so you think Monaco is more exciting?

There was some great racing with Senna, Maldanado and one of the Saubers IIRC where Senna jumped his team mate, and then later on the same thing except Maldando chopped in front of the Sauber too quickly and gave himself a puncture. And we had Raikonnen battling against Massa as Massa came out of the pits, overtook, but then Massa won the "slow race" to cross the DRS line second and get back again.

And after the first corner, Alonso was able to get past Button followed by Hamilton doing the same, with Massa getting very close but seemingly not able to do it.

Well at least Monaco punishes lapses in concentration; as NUT says these huge run-off areas are basically get-out-of-jail for free card.

I know it's wrong but I'm not interested in watching the chaff at the back titting around, I want to see decent battles going on at the front (except for when the Fruit Pastel Maldonado nearly collected Fettle that is, he he).

We need more wet races for sure, maybe Bernie had a point about sprinklers [joking]
I love the drama of 'should he stay out on dry tyres or switch to inter's?' etc F1 comes into its own then IMO

We need a Manchester Grand Prix for sure

You seem certain of that Lee....

Yeah, yesterday's race was pretty boring and it is blatantly obvious that Webber is under team orders. He had Vettel beaten to the first corner and then gave up. He had a chance at the slipstream, but got nowhere near.

Boring.

Better chance of rain at Silverstone to mix things up than in India.
