The e is just a tech demo, they maybe thought it might sell but once the gov levy was removed they gave up imo

£37k new Vs £18k after 3 years is steep drop, £500 a month

Mine is now worth the above ish, so £7k drop in 2.5 years with me. Higher than I would like but given that's all it has cost (bar tyres) not so bad for 15k miles

could be negative equity on PCP which was the old ford model of how they kept you in, you owe us £8k.. pay up or PCP another focus

I have found a use for Milton Keynes. Ideally placed range-wise and quite a few EV charge points from reliable suppliers like Instavolt and MFG.

Last time I (well the ex missus) had anything positive to say about the place involved the big Lego exhibition.

Combine the two and someone could have a winner?

Charger numbers are increasing apace here. One common site is pubs - Green King have done a deal

https://www.fleetnews.co.uk/news/lat...h-drive-energi

A couple of local boozers have the kit going in but that local as to be no use to me

I havent tried/needed to charge away from home for months

Watched a bit of guy Martin show on C4 about Bev's.. decent, got kiddo interested

You wait, next it will be ' all drink drivers are electric car owners' and there will be a drive to remove those chargers from pub car parks as it's seen to encourage drink driving.

In terms of its real carbon footprint, i bet your SC'd S2000 has the lowest one of your fleet.

Does 14mpg but 47k over 24 years... I pulled up on a run in that to the school disco and a mum recoiled from it.. it does stink a bit with decat. Ahem, purely for security officer, if you stop thefts it will be back.. for the MOT.

The NA one is much nicer

My bike passes MOT decat lol..

It's a confused world

Good work but Greene King are one of the brewers who are reducing ABV so they keep more money. Old Speckled Hen went from 5.6% to 4.8% months ago.

Also that article is quite old now I wonder how the project has turned out?

I can see the chargers so they are being put in place and working (I say that in terms of chargers, which means they are function at least 20% of the time lol), eg

Service and first MOT today. Used Honda Nottm and slung the bike on the rack on the back to avoid a Jizz.. about 11km each way

So.. update on the e
16.4K miles
service included shitloads of ticks but they changed the pollen filter (again) and trans fluid (again?) All in the service pack anyway. No tick on brake fluid which is odd and annoying.

total costs
Rear tyres £208
Front tyres £250
Rear wiper £7.50

First MOT £45

total to date £507.50

after 2.5 years (car is 3!) EST miles 14.5kEST fuel AVG is 3mi/kWh ( this is very poor for a BEV)I am currently paying c22p a kWh so about 7p a mile, I believe boggo gas is £6.2 a gallon so 85mpg round town is decent but not spectacular (our golf GTD did 45 in that use)

Interesting despite the new CTR being a hens teeth motor they had two in a powder blue colour.

For £51.5k each.

Errrrrr

It's a no
