I just ate...
Oh they are very different. Pecorino Romano is a tad salty, pecorino means goat in Italian so made with goats milk in its original form. Parmigiano Reggiano is a very strictly controlled cheese from Italy, made from cows milk from a specific region of Italy. If made from North American sources it is labelled as parmesan cheese, not nearly as good, only the authentic stuff can be called Parmigiano Reggiano .
You like that cheese eh ? My parents always had Pecorino Romano sitting around the home, but I got hooked on Parmigiano Reggiano. I like to eat it straight up too, I picked up a brick of it today just for eating, plus some grated parm for pasta. I actually found it on sale, as it can be pricey.
Yep I love salt
I do also love Parm though and Ricotta eat any of those straight up
Yeah I was actually quite surprised to see the lil guys RED
its not icy here but chilly
I will keep checking for any more. Planted that I'll call it a bush vs a plant last Spring an it was the most producing Cherry I've ever grown!
it NEEDS to be Whole Milk
I have to
when I see someone using Cottage Cheese in place of it like in Lasagne
Not easy to find right now since I am not popping into grocery stores

One of our stores usually has a quality Whole Milk in the Deli
Trader Joes has a decent one and Whole Foods
I think Sprouts also carries a good one.
