Will fans care about a 28 game (home and home, no interconference play) season after all the stupidity of the last few months? They'll care, but they'll be disappointed... much like baseball.

28 games and 30 teams... I think they could run a round robin and determine placings for every single team, 1 through 30. That would be interesting.

Jed, 28 games would be a home and home with no interconference... at least that was the "plan" a couple weeks ago. At this point, it seems like the 28 game season and an 8 team playoff is the most we'll get to see. And that's assuming the two sides can find some common ground between $40 mil and $52 mil.
