hahaha well i dunno guys...a contractor that came in to do our phones today drove in my car and was surprised at how quiet mine was compared to both of the s2k's he's owned...he's pretty much the reason why i bought an s2000. maybe i'm just a noob and have to get used to how noisy our car's are...i kinda feel stupid now...


i REALLY have a feeling that the oil cap is lodged in the tranny...my oil cap is non oem..AND the rubber O ring is built into the cap....lol anyone here know the best way to fish it out? i'm gonna do some searches to see if anyone has pics but any actual experience with this would be a great help!!

 

Mines is lodged in there. You'll NEVER get it out. lol

 

Ask JFO, I think he lost his oil cap. I don't know if it got lodged somewhere in the engine compartment or it flew off on the track.

 

Don't sweat it, I will listen to it on Saturday. If it's a concern you can come over one night next week and we can find it. So far both suggustions of the CAT or the oil cap are viable. If the car has an after market cap it is most likley wedged in there but the noise may or may not be related. There is one sure fire way to get that cap out, just remove the transmission

 

it'll probably have to be sometime next week because i'm not driving it to the MWG. i'm gonna be riding on the short bus with everyone else and since i live so close to freq he's gonna pick me up at my house before going to jfo's so my car won't be there. either way thanks for the help in advance.
