2002 finally here
Hello there.
I'm a new member here.
I'm interested in buying a 2002 Blue but I've found only one dealership in Orlando whose willing to sell it at MSRP + $500 (Dealer Fee
). Did you get a good deal in Palm Bay?
If so, what was the price?
Have you shopped around in Orlando?

All of the Orlando dealers are full of shit, I had nothing but problems. One took my deposit and 1 month after he promised me the car would be here they finally told me the car was not coming. I called every dealer in Florida and Palm Bay came through for me. I dealt with Chris Schlecktor, call him and ask him what he has coming in. Make sure you tell him Tom Zimmer sent you so he treats you 1st class. I am sorry but I don't have the number in front of me, check out the Honda web site. Please let me know how it turns out.
Thanks a lot tomzimmer for your reply.
When the time is right, I will definitely call Palm Springs .
Now, the only thing is I still have my 2000 Prelude Type SH to get rid of with just over 23000miles on . It's been paid off and ALL the dealders around here (you are definitely right on this; they are bunch of greedy bastards) are low-balling me with $15000-$16000 trade-in values! Or am I being too optimistic?
Besides, I love my Prelude. Sure, not as fast as stook but nevertherless it still is a great car and I can't imagine myself ditching it like a cheap piece of metal!

You may not believe this but I sold my 1995 del Sol Si on E-Bay. I picked up the buyer at OIA and we went to my bank where he wired money into my account, he then dropped me off at work and drove home to New York. Try it, it works.
Gymniac,
You can try my local dealer, Proctor Honda (Tallahassee). They sell only for MSRP no forced options. They have an 02 W/R on the floor, buyer backed out as they only presell. I think the number is 850-575-5165 ask for Doug Clifford. He was my salesman. I knew far more than anyone in the dealership he was nice and helpful.

Thanks a lot for your help!
I really do appreciate it.
But I'm afraid I will have to save up another 5 months (to minimize the finance amount
). I think it's worthwhile, though...I've waited this far, why give the dealers free money any more than I have to? Until then, I guess I'll enjoy my Prelude...hehe.
Tomzimmer also told me to check out a dealership in Palm Bay (thanks again, Tom
). Sounds like I have bunch of options! It's just too bad dealers in Orlando are full of you-know-what.
Well, gotta go. Have a great day!
