Have driven over 50 miles. No CEL, Idles smooth, Engine running better than ever.

I was just wondering if the loose throttle cable could have been causing the problem. It was very loose. I was thinking that it might have been causing a rapid closure of the throttle plate that might have been playing havoc with the MAP sensor.......or it could have been those cosmic rays (insert twilight zone music here)
