Switching to Synthetic?
i'd suggest fabricating a lil umbrella/cover for your filter... water gets in there while the car is parked and can fill up your intake pretty fast if you dont have a cover for the top of your filter.. I think the hydrolocking prob most s2k guys experience is not from driving through puddles, but just the rain goin in the intake when it is parked.
I though I read somewhere it is best to use regular oil for the beginning of the engines life or some-odd miles? Then change to synthetic? Anyone know what I'm talking about or am I just dreaming things?

Also, most folks seem to agree that switching to synthetic too early in a car's life is bad because synthetic is slicker than conventional oil and therefore can interfere with proper break-in as well.
There's a lot of heresay and debate with this topic however.
