well we have Vipers running with us - it will be a good, no great chance to see how to run the car under the EVERY day driving conditions!

as for the kiss of the wall at RA I was fine -- not hurt at all, the car was in the shop for almost 5 months but it is back in top shape now.

We have only 12 or so spots left -- (have not checked the mail yet today! )

I have a Lowly 97 with a few mods done to it that actually took some low end torque and added higher HP above 5700RPM (my car redlines at 6500) so that is why I would say that --

Hope to have you Join us --

and MAY MORE S2000's!!

SMH, I think your a bit mistaken on the torque comparison of the two cars:

2000 Honda S2000 - 240HP@8300 RPM, 156 lbf. Torque@7500 RPM (Curb weight ~2800 lbs)

--Versus--
1997 Porsche Boxster - 201 HP@6000 RPM, 181 lbf. Torque@4500 RPM (Curb weight 2960 lbs)
2000 Porsche Boxster S - 249 HP@6250 RPM, 225 lbf. Torque@4500 RPM

The Boxster has always had more torque. Better for climbing hills. As a matter of fact, I took a 2000 Boxster for a test drive the other day. It is a very nice, well balanced car. The power delivery was smooth. Handling was very predicable.
