HD-DVD in more trouble.

Looks like another blow to HD-DVD, so much so they canceled their CES press conference because of the WB announcement.

HD-DVD appears to be the dying format.

*waits for Skip to chime in*

Couldn't care less. I have had both formats since their inceptions. My library is populated with both formats. I just play devil's advocate because there is always someone touting one side or the other... just like politics.

PS. I didn't even look at the links you supplied.

The Harmony One is the ultimate remote control -- you have to try one to understand. Program it to automatically turn on the TV, DVD player and sound system when you want to watch a movie, and add in all sorts of other tricks."

New at CES.
What I like better on the Harmony One is the button layout and the fact that all the buttons do not look/feel the same. I'll never learn the 890 by feel I don't think, except maybe the volume and channel controls. If you can add the RF Extender to the One it might be a win. You could try it without the Extender first..

Harmony 880 for $95

RF Extender says its only compatible with 890, 895 and 1000 though...
