Found my dream car, I bought it today :)
Wow prices are dropping fast xD. I bought my MY01 Spa Clean Title /w 54k miles in Nov 08' for 11,700. Came with aftermarket subs and headrest speakers. I was wondering if I got a good deal on that.
To the op GLWTB. That my02 is a nice deal to me. Very low miles.

Please don't get that one. It's really an awful deal considering it's been in an accident especially at the price shown. If it hadn't been in an accident I still wouldn't pay over 9500 if that for it.
With the accident and all maybe like 7500-8K or so if everything checks out.
I would ditch this one right away and check out the other one posted for $12000 with 38K miles. Get it for $11000 and you got a sweet car for a great price.

All these people giving you advice on your car purchases should tell you what they paid for their cars, the year, and how much it was going for.
My guess, most of these folks telling you to buy it for <11K over paid for their cars. Likely most not even getting 10% off their car purchase. I got 17% off current retail, $2k above trade in and $700 above private sale. It came with new tires and brake pads.
If you weren't aware car prices are solidifying and people are paying more now for cars then they were just 4 months ago. Up 1.4% if I'm not mistaken.
Why? Dealers/sellers are saying 'enough' and not giving things away. Do your research, use KBB to give you an insight into the previous weeks/months selling prices. However this is a fluid market and it's about to bounce back.

Have you shopped for car insurance yet?
That might scare you too.

I have two accidents on my record and 2 tickets and I'm 25 and only pay $147 a month with esurance. Full coverage but $1000 deductible. I thought the S insurance would be much worse but not TOO bad really.
I got my 2001 S with 69K 2 years ago for $13,000. So this one is 2 years older when being bought now and a little more miles for same price...Not a good deal. Mine was a single owner, stock without a clean and clear title and not a single real issue yet.

I took it to my mechanic's body shop today and they put it up on the lift and looked it over real good. The original VIN is still on the bottom of the hood and it doesn't look like that was damaged at all. All that looks like was done was the front bumper replaced and one fender. Nothing was damaged in the frame or suspension. Car handles and shifts great and everything else works.
I know some of you will think I'm a fool, but I think I might go for this one...IF they meet my price. We'll see what happens.
Also, already gave my insurance lady the vin. Ins would be $434/yr to add it on to my policy. I didn't think that was too bad.
