New Owner from Ohio - Hello and 1 question
Have you worked your way around the issue? If not, maybe the plastic isn't as flexible all the way through anymore due to being over 10 years old (assuming its the original top). Maybe look into seeing if there are any wipes/spray that can help bring the life of that plastic back. Similar to like leather wipes renewing dried (not severely dried) leather making it 'soft' again.
Where in Ohio? "USA" doesn't give us a clue!
The later roof as on my '06 is claustrophobic. For me anyway. I want to put the roof down when backing onto my garage! But other than that (!) it's better than plastic.

No, I haven't really worked around the issue yet. I suspect that the rear window has always folded vertically and the PO just let it be. The plastic window has separated from the black canvas dead center on the bottom for about 1 inch. I put some Gorilla tape on it and as long as I put the top down half way, then push the kink in so that the top is folding horizontally, then lower it the rest of the way and everything works fine.
Of course, that is a real pain in the neck to do every time. However, I have assigned that job to my wife
