in terms of fun to drive which do you guys prefer? a s2000 or new (e46) bmw m3? i love the s2000 so much and i was offered a near new m3 instead of buying an s2000, i have 2 weeks to make the decision. am i crazy for wanting an s2000 over the new standard on european sports cars. btw convt isnt that important to me butand the m3 would be hard top.

My friend has an e46 and its frikin bad! I would get it over an s2000, but BMW's expensive to maintain after a while and make sure that this e46 was brokin in properly because it can lead you into problems later down the road.

For those who have owned it for a year or more, how well are the parts holding up? Does it have any annoyances like faulty brake cylinder switches (like I have had on both Acuras)? I currently own a CL and am thinking about either a s2000 or z4. The only thing that worries me about Hondas are the rattles and the little stuff that breaks all the time.

I hear ya man, I didn't even get my S2000 because of the convertible feature -- I totally forgot that it was a convertible til after I drove my new S2000 home.
