Thanks to the info supplied here...

I just purchased a 2002 SPA yellow...I was planning on waiting a few more months but found a good deal. I also wanted to get a drive on a 350Z but after extensive lurking on here and my350Z.com I decided the S was the right choice for me, a pure Sports car.

I hope my VFR does not get neglected too much, next Spring.

I hope we get another mild winter here in DC.

Hope to see everyone on a twisty road or race circuit soon.

George

Well I purchased that 2001 I mentioned earlier.

Thanks again everyone for the great information you have here. I was worried it would be tough to find a good S2K forum, after being such an active member at Club RSX (I'm the second highest poster over there, and a moderator.. which I'll continue to be even after trading in my RSX)....

but it looks like I'll have fun here too!

I can't wait, I pick her up on Monday (so long as everything goes as planned.

It's going to be a tough decision next spring which to ride/drive.

I have a electric jacket for the MC for cool weather riding, I think the S will get all the cool weather use now.

Happy Motoring

I own an s2000 and new wrx and the wrx is better in MANY ways. The only thing I can think of that the s2000 has that the wrx doesn't is the looks. You can't go wrong with the wrx, turbo, awd, and great price. The acceleration is about the sae, but from a dead stop, the wrx just takes off and the s2000 doesnt have a chance.

The WRX is a neat car, but why even compare it to an S2000?

Let's not forget the S2000 is a roadster. I guarantee that will matter to you when the weather gets warm. Also, is the WRX a LEV? What's its resale? What about the S2000's exclusivity?

Don't get me wrong; I like the WRX, but I don't get why you'd want to compare it to an S2000.

id compare it to the s2000 because it gives you most of the things the s2000 gives you but better and cheaper. For about 25k Its faster than the s2000 in a drag race and it gies you what you get in the s2000 when u hit 6000rpm, but the wrx gives it to you at about 3000rpm. Theres no going wrong wen you buy the wrx. I like my s2000, but my wrx is better in almost every aspect.
