The car will proably outlast the girlfriend, so get what you want. Once you have a wife, you'll probably not be able to get this car and if you're not careful you'll end up with a Camry.

I can pack for two people plus Christmas presents in the S - you just have to pack wisely and make use of the shelf where the top goes to get that last bit of space. Plus, you can always get a trunk luggage rack and tie stuff to that if you can't get it in the car.

The Boxster has the most trunk room of any roadster out there, but the S has enough to get by.

04+ are better for long distance hauls, but this is from a driver's standpoint.

honest to god i've gotten 4 people in my S. me(driver) 2 chick on each other(passenger's') and my best friend in the trunk. we only had to go a few blocks but if i can fit 4 then theres obviously not a space problem. Plus if she dumps you- dude you have an s2000 how hard is it to find a girlfriend with these things.

Edit: sry didn't notice how old this post was.

Let me be more specific, how tall are you? I'm curious because I'm 6ft 6 and I could manage to fit in the S2k. Albeit a bit cramped but not much more than my TA.

well to be honest, it is a little cramp and not very spacious indeed...
as our friend paul here says...: For what the car is made for, that shouldn't be a concern.
i couldnt agree more than that....
as we know it is a pure sport car...a very nice aport car indeed....
so it should lack of...space ...comfort...road noise...and blah2...
but again...just drop the top and enjoy the drive dude....
you will be blown away...
love the s2k...

with the top down you should be just fine and dandy although the A Pillar might be right in front of you face lol jk. I'm sure if you get the car it'll grow on you. <- I know it's corny but i couldn't help myself.

I'm 6ft 6, 190 lbs - and fit in the drivers seat no problem - although entry and exit with the top up is acrobatic sometimes. I cannot sit in the passenger seat though, becaue my knees hit the dashboard - even with the seat all the way back. I don't spend too much time in the passenger seat, but as i'm sure you can all attest to, there's always those people who won't shut up until you let them take it for a spin.
