Default Cam timing?

I was thing about advancing my cams but I don't want to over do it I was thinking about 4 degrees. I was just wondering if anyone has messed with cam timing.

The only way to do that is with cam gears. If you have a free flowing exhaust and intake you can get about 5 hp.

The only company that I know of that makes cam gears for our engines is TODA. IIRC they run around 700 for a set. Not cheap
