So the noise was from the cams. I dialed in the valve lash tonight and it sounds soooo much better. Its way quieter. Now I hear a clicking/tapping noise once oil pressure builds up; it takes a couple seconds after the car's started. It's probably been there for a little while but I couldn't hear it since everything else was so loud. I'll get more into it this weekend.

So what's that mean? No cams for 2.4L?

That's what it means for now. I'm pretty disappointed myself.

hope you can get a refund, I'll steer clear of any skunk parts in the future.

Why not try a Spoon or Toda cam instead?

I heard the Toda cams were just as bad, I also heard Spoon discontinued their cams too? Stick with OEM.

Ap1 intake cam and cam gears is the best you can do. Would be nice to see how much clearance you have so you would know how much advance and overlap you could have run with the gears.

Which com gears would you suggest to run? Toda is the only ones I can see which makes them (from the last time I checked).
