hey guys, ive been following this thread lately. I just got my car dynoed this past weekeed.

-on a dynojet w/ just invidia exhaust it put down 197whp.

-on a dynocom...i havent heard of it before. w/invidia, invidia test-pipe, and arc intake put down 210whp at best. they told me that the dynocom was pretty accurate.

i got a vid of the dyno...might post up later...invidia with the testpipe sounds sick!

197 sounds close, you should probably be around 200 but + or -3 isnt nothing, could be dyno error.

I have been reading intake threads lately. Has anyone ever had any before/after dyno charts of a K&N/Airbox VS. a conventional cold air intake. It seems logically a snorkel/airbox would work better than a CAI. Anyone have any intake advice? I have had the K&N FIPK, I currently have the AEM V2, but I am leaning towards putting the gutted box/K&N back on.

^ Shawn Church has done numerous dyno testing with various intakes on an S2000. While I don't have any dyno graphs to back this up, Shawn has stated on numerous occasions that the AEM V2 produces more power than any other intake setup.

shawn is a smart guy. When I dynoed my car stock I told him of what I had planed for it. He said I had made the right choice in going with a V2. He himself uses the AEM on the race s2k's he builds, and tunes. According to him it gives the best gains all around.

While I agree with the argument about it being better to force air into the motor at higher rpm's(mugen, j's intakes), they still use a filter inside which will restrict the whole point of that in my opinion. Why not eliminate the use of a filter and just have an open pipe to allow the cold air to pass through freely. It would probably how better gains this way, but then you worry about debre.

on a side note I'd like to know where I can find a prm intake from?

well Kamer uses a costum AEm intake. UL reccomend me the V1.

Read the V2 review made by UL or have a look to the dynos
