the Official "NA Tuning" thread
boo FI!! hahahah! doing some heavy research an vfac tuning now. i lowered my goal to 220rwhp, it just seems more attainable with my currnent buget. so vfac tuning and a spoon header for me.....should be 220rwhp!

Just wanted to reiterate that there are 3 70mm exhausts out there for the S2000.
Amuse R1000
J's Racing 70RR
T1R 70mm
Amuse is the most expensive, full titanium, best quality/fitment, and loudest, normal round cylinder cannister with round straight tip
J's is full titanium, mid priced, dolphin style tip, blue or silver tip, and has a silencer available
T1R is stainless steel, great price, Amuse style muffler and tip, cat back that comes with Test pipe.
All exhausts probably make similar power, but with the difference in muffler and pipe design, where the exhausts make power is a mystery to me.
I suggest someone buy all three and let me dyno test them, and I'll take the one that performs the best.

220whp is definitelt attainable.
I think I would recommend to Version:
AUT style radiator panel (hooked to your stock airbox with K&N filter), 66mm ProFlow TB ($150), Spoon header if that is what you decided on, T1r test pipe, your Spoon N1 exhaust, and VAFC2 tuned. I think that would yield the results you're looking for, and remain within your budget.
Sounds like a sexy setup. Making me double think the SC, hehe...

i think 11.1 AFR is the way to go...i am most likely totally wrong though!

I've been tacked on to this since it started, I would like 230 - 240 rwhp as well!
On another section of the forums there is talk about the V-AFC "losing it's tune" over time due to the Stock ECU learning it's ways, therefore compensating and eventually returning everything to stock. Resetting the ECU though, i heard, would take care of this. Just though i'd throw that in since there is a lot of talk about the VAFC and J's ECU.
Someone please enlighten us about this issue!
Great Stuff, tho!
