go for it. i know for a fact that 3in makes power, its all just a matter of tuinng. NA K20 guys make power on 76mm(3in) so i know we will. ruben's would have been the most power AP2 if he'd emanaged it. well into the 230's.
3" will make power if the exhaust piping (bends) is designed properly. The 3" exhaust I had a while back had some bad bends and I lost a fair amount of power with that setup.

This guy is local to Wildcardtrd and myself. He may have one left for $100 (you'd have to get it painted black...maybe another $100). The seller doesn't want to ship, but maybe Nate or I could help get it boxed and UPS'ed out to you.

dam that's pretty cheap, but it probably isn't painted..correct?

version I do have connections to the toyota, acura and honda dealers where I get all parts with a 40% discount. If you'de like I can see how much the ap1 lips would cost for me(plus I think you can get them already painted BB from factory).

that lip looks great im thinking of picking that up! only problem is its not OEM.
it looks like it fits great but its missing the rubber gasket between the lip and bumper, that the OEM has.

that lip will scratch your bumper if you ever take it off, you will see the scratches

I had a similar problem to yours with the bends of mine and it must have robbed some p[noies from me also. However yours may have been bit more by the way I remember you explaining it.

BlownAP make sure to focus on the bends to have them make it as smooth as possible. Biggest concern though should be the transition for the header to the exhaust.

Let's say if you had the J's header then you'de want to start the exhaust as a 70mm in my opinion. maybe with something like this....

A long type transition pipe that would go from the 70mm into a smooth transition over to the 3" system.

Man I really want to have a better company make a 3" system and have my buddy give me my old car back for some dyno testing.
thanks ruben,

Im going to be keeping the stock header. or wait tell one comes out that yield great power and isnt an Arm & a Leg.

but yea i know exactly what your talking about with the smooth transitions.

you and quick both went to spugen. so what your pretty much saying is..... stay away from spugen? ahaha
