the Official "NA Tuning" thread
I stretched my budget to get the AP2 and don't have the money to mod now. I'd buy the '02 and have fun modding it. There will almost always be someone faster than you anyway. Finding 10 more torque with the right mod is more fun than making higher payments

Well I found this, all I have to do is find myself a cheap check valve hehe. This thread pretty much tells u how to install them.

go look for a PCV valve from a turbo t-type (buick grand national, turbo regal, etc)
those guys run stupid boost levels on the factory PCVs, and thats like a $5 part at most at an auto parts store.

What do you guys think about this deal.
2002 S
Blk/Blk
55,000miles
$15,600
One Owner
Garage Kept
Apparently it passed some 60 point inspection also.
Car is supposed to be really clean inside and out, but not sure if I want to get an ap1.
However if I do get an S for that cheap, then I'll hit 230whp within a month

Black has always been my fav color for any car.
Racing beat cat is high flow I guess
I thought the concensus was that the oem s2000 cat was one of the best flowing cats in the world, its pretty high flow already, a "high flow" cat will show little to no gains from what I understand. Might as well use the factory one.

Do you guys know if there is a high-flow CAT for our S2000? I need to get another exhaust and a CAT to eliminate my back-firing issues. I have my factory CAT, but would prefer a high-flow CAT if one is available.

I'm not saying anything is wrong with the a1, but I prefer the stylings and the added power of the ap2. It's just a deal like this is driving me nutz!
