VPS, what is your experience level? Noel, I think it is one of those things that would have broken regardless. It was just expedited on hoosiers. The car is too fast to abandon now. I'll fix it up, and get it over to Andy on Saturday for a rear alignment. DJ Fitzpatrick is going to co-drive with me at the Pro, and finally got in.

Yes, ingress –egress will be a lot harder with any fixed back seat. You can come over and try it; I may sell the other seat.

//Steve\\- I replied to your other post about your car. If you are concern about it, just run the right offset wheels and keep the hard top on to equalize the weight saving. There is no need to get a new car. Now, at a National event, you may have to run a different class. I may sell my TR wheels 17X9 +62 with 255 Star-Specs

Noel- Let me know when you want to sell your car! I will take it.
I really want to see the gap in times because I haven’t touched my car since last year. Depending on the results, I will decide what to upgrade. But most likely I need a big “driver” mod.

MazdaSC- James is that you? Any changes on your car for this year?
Just stiffer springs and Racing Beat header. Went from 5k to 7k in the rear, I have a set of 9k for the front, but I'm going to wait and see how the balance is before I try messing with it.

but all joking aside. I've been racing and pushing my cars to the limits since I could drive. I do karting for fun, autox when I can afford it and have done studless ice racing in Alaska. I've also studied racing theory and put most of it to use to polish off a wide spectrum of racing(good at a lot of racing styles but not great at one and thats my down fall) I just enjoy being behind the wheel of my car. even if it's to go get a gallon of milk from the store lol.

We are working on it We are working on an altogether new site. It's really close but transferring the domain from host to host proved to be a serious pain!

Looking forward to watching the local STR battles this year. Makes me wish I had bought an S2K. Almost

You know a co-drive is open anytime. May want to wait until I get the suspension goodies on though

I'm not so sure I will be there. I got 3 of the 4 arms on, but one of the bolts is seized, and it is rather clear it was never intended to be removed. There is no room for a even a socket to get in there. I bought an 18" wrench and plan to heat it up with a propane torch. If that doesn't work, the whole rear subframe has to be dropped out of the car. What a load of fail.

I run into this all the time and literally the easiest thing to do is use a sawzall(assuming its a control arm bushing bolt). if you take a torch it'll burn the bushing and the hot metal will keep re-igniting the fire on the bushing. so just slip a sawzall in between the bushing and the subframe bracket and it'll cut the tip of the bolt off on both ends and allow you to slip the control arm out. and you can use a pair of vice grips to turn out the other end of the bolt from the nut(assuming its welded in place) if you live near I'm off at 3 on saturday to help but I know thats useless to you since you need it aligned. unless your friend owns his own alignment rack or can use it after hours.
