2016 Track Junkie Thread!

Hey hey! Okay, so I read 350Z diff, I also just recently read a thread on the difference between the torsen type lsd and the vicous lsd.

So....... here's my thing, I currently just run HPDE's, I want to do NASA next year.
I plan to swap the 350z diff for the longer gear and stay on a budget. I swapped my motor and I'm limited to a 7k rpm redline limiting me to 131 mph.
What I have read is I can do the puddy mod diff with 3.6 gears and keep the torSen lsd but set back about 1800 + gears (per puddy mod)
Is there any reason I shouldn't go with a stronger, more readily available differential?
If your familiar with the b series setups mine feels like a LS motor on a b16 transmission. It's pretty rough.
Haha good analogy. I'd imagine it's even worse from riding in derek's (lalasissyboy) car. If you drive it on the street it's gotta be brutal w/o a different FD..
I just got an email telling me SCCA is going to wait 1 week or so to make the decision on if they should postpone. They REALLY don't want to, but the rain has really slowed down the fixing of errors at Dominion. Not sure what will happen if they postpone again concerning the roster since they bumped all the May drivers to the June event.
I'm glad I signed up for Pocono on the 14th
