I just finished the first tank of gas! Checked the oil and it was full. Haven't gone over 5k and averaged 23.5 mpg on the first tank. I'm getting anxious to hit the magic 600 mile mark.

257 miles on the odometer and counting....

first tank of gas. got 24mpg. surprised only 10gallon is full. and if im right am i the only white s2k in hampton roads?

Just went over 1000 miles. Nice to be able to open it up. Wait til you feel the push at 7200 RPM when the extra HP kick in. Feels great!

Just did mine today at the 1/2 tank level and got 23.1 mpg. I noticed several days ago that the AC button had been engaged most of the time so my mpg was paying a slight penalty on this tank.

I havn't drove a 04 but I would think you'd notice the vtec crossover around 6k, try putting pedal to the floor and see if you get the feeling then. If not, check with other 04 owners as to when they feel the push.

 

Thanks. Will do. I'm waiting for the temp to get a bit higher (been reading all the stories about cold weather and performance tires) before pushing too hard again.
