Great, but I can understand why you were a bit paranoid, after all that has happened.

I am glad those folks liked your home and were positive about it. Hopefully all will go well from this point on.

Good news and bad news ...

GOOD NEWS!!!...the fat lady has sung her ass off!!!

Yup... She's gooOOOOoooooOOOOOOooooone [/endpoorHall&Oatsreference]

Talked with my builder as well. Expense/price escalations should not be as bad as initially considered. And he and I will be working together to offer us "allowances" to make certain purchases ourselves...so we'll be shopping for good deals where we can. A big savings should prove to occur in my using my own company's Heating & Cooling petroleum service center to install our Heat Pump, duct work, LP plumbing, etc.

Got what appears to be a decent excavator as well. Recommended from our central office maintenance supervisor...a good guy himself and he's recommended some great folks for me for service related work in the past. Now that the excavator will begin clearing Saturday morning...I wonder if I was suppose to get a Disturbance Permit . Well...if someone says something...I guess I'll need to apply for it . Actually, I believe my builder has already made such a request. But I am probably going at this a lil quickly. Who can blame me tho'...I gotta get this bugga up soz I can get away from the Bad News... Oh...that's right...

BAD NEWS...the fat lady left her ass in my toilet!

1st night in the [rent-free family] home we'll be staying in while our next place gets built?.... yeah... the toilets immediately backed up and is freely flowing downstairs if we flush upstairs. Lordy...whoever said "Nothing is Free" sure got that right . Plumber should show up tomorrow... And as no one has lived in this house daily for nearly 7 years now...I'm sure I'll get to appreciate more "fix-er-upper" issues throughout the remainder of my wait for our new place to be built.

Not planning to live out of boxes, I've been unpacking now over the last week. Came across my camera, and had time to review my SD card. Had a pic as I left the property...for...the...last...time.

Something for my scrapbook. And a final turning of the page on a history of over 12 years at this home. It was a good home
