wore my metro shirt for s2ki

That ride really was a good time. I really had a lot of fun.

The only thing that sucked about last night was the traffic going into the city, but it was well worth it. We should do that on a friday night next time... I ate dinner at 12:30am...

Central Park is a really nice ride. I used to do it in from queens over the 59th alot in preperation for the 5 borough bike tour. Descent climbing for the city I need to get a road bike but I am so used to being a clown and doing 2" bunny hops over manhole covers

No mountain biking rides planned?

Well it finally happened to me. A 75 year old lady, in a big lexus, failed to yield making a left across the street and cut me off. I had nowhere to go, hit her passenger front fender, flew over the hood and landed on my shoulder, breaking my clavicle and getting a concussion. I was going about 20 mph and my bike bounced off her car and hit another one waiting to take the left, 5 feet away! A helmet, quick thinking, and a bunch of luck saved me from getting more injured. I'll find out on Monday if i need surgery, but my chances of starting classes this semester are pretty small. Only perk is the lady was issued a ticket and is at fault for the accident, so my damaged bike should be replaced and my medical bills should be covered by her insurance. No driving, riding or use of my right arm for at least 6-8 weeks.

Wow! So sorry to hear of your accident.
But I have to say, I think you're lucky to be alive!
Hope you have a quick recovery and are back on a bike in no time.
