LOL, I havent' started yet, but my sister was making fun of him making a 'power of X' sign or somethign.
Reminds me of tae-bo except tae-bo had some hotties that were fun to look at.
I haven't done this program but am a little less than 5% body fat and work out consistently.
I always hear how things get more difficult in regards to exercise as you get older, but I have found it to be the opposite. I'm in better shape now than ever and it looks like you are as well.
Congrats Vader1, P90X really did the trick for you. Your previous posts a few weeks ago inpspired me to get started. Just getting ready to start week 2 and I am miserable. Hope my after pics turn out as good as yours did!

"P.......90.......X. Lets climb our legs!" (let's not and say we did)
"here...we...go. Thats...nice...nice."
"German potato soup? If thats not P90x soup I don't know what is!"
Glad to here lots of people are trying it. I'd like to say it gets easier, but not really. Mostly you are just more mentally prepred to get through each workout because you know whats coming. But as you get stronger, you just do more reps, more weight, higher jumps, and still feel exhausted. But the soreness does go away for the most part.
By the way you can name your favorite girl in the videos too. Sophia from "Legs and Back" is quite a feast.
Just finished the P90X routine this week! I'm 30 years old, so not quite as impressive as vaders, but it still wasn't easy to get through it!
I'm pretty happy w/ the results, but will look forward to adding more muscle bulk now in the future. Keep in mind I still have a decently high metabolism (was a competitive swimmer for years), so it's hard for me to add a lot of size.
I started off the P90X routine at 176 pounds, and finished at 164 pounds--that weight loss was mostly from my abdomen (I also lost 2.5 inches around my waist), and I just about have the first 6-pack stomach in over 10 years. I'm going to sort of continue with the P90X routine in the future, but make up my own regimen really concentrating on the weight lifting routines (non-cardio). I hope to get back up to about 180 pounds, but this time with a 6-pack, so the weight gain would basically all be from muscle bulk. We'll see how it goes!
Black Knight I was on vacation and just checked back in this thread. Congratulations on finishing! Glad to hear you are happy with the results. Now you are probably like me cinching up your belt in every pair of pants you have because they are falling off!
Mindcore, keep us posted. Trust me. You can do it. Once you get through a week or two you don't want to stop because you will think you would be stupid to have gone through all the soreness of the first couple weeks and then not finish.
I was suprised what the program did for my cardio. When I was in Hawaii I had my first chance to try to run. (I don't run much more than a mile before I have had enough) and ran three miles very fast and did not get winded. I was amazed. I kept going faster to see what would do me in, but my heart and lungs were just fine. I did wake up to a week of the worst shin splints I have ever had though.
