Week 5 update:

I was going out on Friday and none of my clothes fit me right. Went to buy a new shirt and ended up at Banana Republic, which is NOT a fat-friendly place. For the first time since I can remember everything I tried on FIT and chose a shirt based on looks and style instead of on how well it covered my gut. It wasn't even a regular B.R. shirt - it was a slim fit, which are even harder to pull off. I can't remember the last time that my shoulders looked wider than my midsection

And I'm barely past 1/3 of the program! This thing really works - stay on it!

You guys convinced me to give this a shot. Just won the entire setup on ebay, should be starting this week. My wife is a dietician so that should help keep me honest with the diet. Wish me luck.

KTR6- even if you hate it from workout 1, stick with it for a month and see what it does.

I had to take a couple weeks off because of H1N1 so I am extending mine a couple extra weeks. And I also am at the point of being burned out on the workouts. I am ready for something new. But I still can't argue with the results. Just have to push on through the last month.

And as far as clothes not fitting, all my shirts and pants look to big.

It's healthier to me lean and muscular than it is to be buffed to the wahoo anyway. Less strain on the joints if you are lifting moderate weights and not carrying all that extra mass around all day.

Ha funny thing I just put on some shorts last night that I haven't worn in a few months and they are definately big, I had to go 1 or 2 holes more on my belt!
I'm just finishing phase 2, and am really happy w/ everything so far! I'm right on the cusp of the first 6 pack stomach I've had since I was in high school swimming 2 times a day!

Good to hear this is working for you guys. I'm in very good shape but am looking to try something new as I'm not gaining from my runs/pushups/pullups and situps/crunches. So thanks for the info!

To bad I live upstairs and there is alot of jumping in this .

Ok, tomorrow I turn forty and just finished the program except for the final recovery week. It was hard but if I can do it I suppose anybody can. The hardest part is sticking to the diet which I did not do otherwise I would be a little leaner in the middle, but I am going to extend for an extra month so I am in good shape for my January trip to Hawaii.

I have alway been a small guy 5'6" ~150 so the program did not make me huge or anything, but for 40 years old, I am satisfied. I took a before pic and deleted it, I was kind of chubbly. Anywho here is the after:

Feel free to ask questions if you are thinking about trying it. I had lots of back trouble, soreness and hunger the whole time, but you get through.

Holy crap dude. I really want to see a before picture. It will give me more motivation. I'm waiting for my discs so I can get started.
