itll be funny if the guy takes you to court and then the judge raises questions about the legality of all the modifications to the car. then the guy who bought the car would just be screwed

im from east bay originally.... lived in the bay all my life then moved here when i was 13ish cuz of my dad's work... house prices sky rocketed from like 300 to 1.4mil and now we dont have the money to buy our house back for 1.4 LOL.... so we're going to stay in cold PA.....

i deal with attorney's all day long.

they will threaten all day long even if they know their case has holds no water. basically they are hoping for a settlement outside of court and to then just walk away from the case.

most attorneys have or will never see the inside of a court room...this guy sounds like he is in the same category.

if you feel like it offer to help the kid w/instruction...but let him know you won't be paying for anything. and as for the attorneys, a line i like to use when talking w/claimants is "taking this case to trial will benefit no one but the attorneys". kind of keeps things in perspective for a lot of asshats.

either way...you have nothing to worry about until a summons actually shows up on your doorstep. Even then you don't have much to worry about after reading through your situation....just don't default on the case.
