S2000 58,500CDN
Boxster 72,000
BoxsterS 86,580

Above are the prices plus aroud $2000CDN room for options and add in tax. I've only put in the CD player into the Boxsters of course.

I've been figuring out my reasons to choose the Boxster or S over the S2K:

1)My gf really prefers a Boxster

2)I don't Vtec most of the time but shift at 3-4K most of the time so I thought Boxster would be more fun as a cruiser. As mentioned I'm not allow to rev when I have someone beside me.

The prestige of the Boxster cancels out each other. It's more prestigious but I'm 20 years old and I don't want to portray myself as either rich or a spoiled brat.

I love the Boxster's styling more but I think I look better in an S2K b/c of my age mainly.

No there aren't many reasons for choosing the Boxster over the S2K for me but the two reasons I listed are a biggie for me.

Do you like to golf? The S2000 trunk will accomodate two sets of golf clubs/bags and still have enough room for a weeks worth of soft luggage. The Boxter does not have even enough room for one set of golf clubs.

oh so the s2000 trunk will fit 2 golf bag sets?? Ive been wondering for for awhile. Hmmm.. i saw an s2000 and rode in one and i recall the trunk being very small. Well howie not to be mean or anything or not respectful, its YOUR car not your gf's or families. I know and i HOPE this doesnt happen but you might not be with your girlfriend as long as you have the car. And besides isnt insurance for porsche alot? I hope i didnt upset you or anything but its the facts. The car is for you to drive not anybody else. Also in new york there are crazy amounts of porsche boxsters and porsche boxster type s's. However the people who drive it is old (not to stereotype or anything) Have you considered the SC430? It sure is a luxiourious car and performance its not that bad either. I think it was somewhere 60,000 american dollars? I cant remember. Also its a hardtop.

No offense taken MugenS2000. No I have not and will not consider the Lexus. It looks like it's a good performer but I just don't like the old man's cruiser image that the car carries. There's a difference between a car with lots of old people driving it and a car that is aimed at old people.

You're right though. It is my car. It is just that I don't really mind having either car and so I take other people's opinion into consideration.

I always thought the Boxster has more cargo room than the S2k? I guess maybe more cargo room in total only? But no I don't play golf.

Sorry. I don't mean that to be offensive at all. Like I said, it's never the age but the heart.
