Well, guns are highly regulated here and we have much lower per capita violent death and accidental death rates than the US.
Guns are highly regulated here (Massachusetts, near Boston), and we have a much higher per capita violent death rate than the U.S. as a whole. In fact, the areas in the U.S. with the strongest gun control laws are exactly those areas with the highest violent crime rates.

Correlation does not prove causation.

You gun-lovers really are one trick ponies. When are you going to understand that I am not opposed to your gun laws? So there is no point in coming back to me with the pro-gun argument. I agree with you; you have the right to bare arms and the right to arm bears for all I care.

My statement is simple and I challenge anyone to disagree with it. I wish we lived in a world where we didn't feel fear everytime we stepped out of the house.

None of us really do, but I can tell you the paranoia level here is much lower than the places you guys are talking about and for that I am glad for me and pity you. Simple as that.

If you hadn't noticed, the issue doesn't appear to be with the orignal poster.

Thaty said, I'ds recommend a leather holster slung under the dash. Not sure whether it should be on the left or right. If you're right handed the right hand side makes more sense but maybe too close to the passenger. The problem with the left hand side is it is too close to your window and hence to a perp (see, I know the jargon).

Perhap side-on, butt to the right, in the middle under the steering column.

On a side: I know an idea was thrown around some time ago by Rick about making a leather holster.

PS> Still glad this isn't an issue I feel compelled to wrestle with first hand. Sorry of that upsets anyone. Don't shoot me!
I'm not sure about Rick's, but i did run across a thread about MUZ possibly designing one click me
but wait a sec isnt MUZ based out of Australia?

Sure there are, but not ones where you'd feel the need to 'pack heat' (possibly a bit too 80s)!
