Default Fedex didn't deliver my package....

What do you do when fedex says they delivered your package to your doorstep but they didn't? Guessing they delivered it somewhere else or something. On the tracking page it said it was delivered at 10:34pm on my doorstep with no signature. Will I have to wait until Monday?
I called their number but it is a little confusing and doesn't seem to have the right options. Also couldn't find a local fedex number. I felt a little weird when I saw fedex was delivering it. NEVER had any problems with UPS. But the first time fedex is used they mess up.

I work for UPS and depending on the dollar amout of the item and what part of town you are in is what they go by when leaving the package on the doorstep or not. You need to call them right asap and tell them what happened. Maybe they left it and someone took off with it.

I just went through this this past week... According to UPS, the package was delivered to my door step on Thursday, when in fact the lack of foot prints up the driveway and to the door weren't apparent in the snow which fell the night before. I immediately called American Express, which I purchased the item I shipped on, and they immediately refunded my money and will launch an investigation on their own - i'll hear nothing else of it. Good luck.

call them and tell them it was never delivered. It is up to them to prove it was delivered. If it was lost in the shuffle somewhere, you can probbaly get a refund under the shipping agreement. Check FedEx's shipping agreements for their different services (should be posted on their website).

Just went through this with UPS. Call the person you ordered from and discuss it. They sent me a replacement item and are handling the claim with UPS since they'll ultimatley get the money back, not you.

Its the old "DNR" for did not respond. For those of use who use these service on a regular basis and must answer questions from customers we call it "drop and run". Its so the drivers can keep their productivity up.

Driver released. Im not sure if Fedex does this, but when something like this happens, a couple of days later, the driver will come to your doorstep with a "Driver Follow up" to see if you really recived the package or not. That I think is how they start a claim. I am a UPS driver here in Florida .

Had the xbox I ordered last Christmas stolen by fed ex employee at their shipping warehouse. Never made it to the truck. This year I am having something worth several thousand sent fed ex. I have my fingers crossed.

(They did replace the XBox for free, it just took an extra couple weeks)
