Gay is the new black
Damn you guys are still beating a dead dog over this? If you are not a h0m0 why do you care about this or how does it affect you? If your a straight white male, then you really don't need to give a crap over this.
The gays lost twice, if this was so important to them they should have just defended their position. Now their just pouting like spoiled children who don't get their way.
Besides it's Christmas time to enjoy the season (and a big FU to other faiths, enough of this calling it "Happy Holiday's" or some other BS like that) last time I checked this country was founded by Christians and this time of the year it's Christmas.

This is my personal opinion on why I voted yes on Prop 8:
Yes I'm a christian, always have been, always will.
To start off... As a citizen of the United States of America, I think it is wrong to make a law against gays.
At the same time... As a devout Christian, I must vote as a Christian first, and as a U.S. citizen second. And no man-made law should make you do something otherwise.
What most people don't understand is that marriage is a word made by God. Marriage by the bible's definition is a union between man, woman, and God. That is why traditionally it is done at a Church, so God is present. Man just cannot take a word God invented, and change the definition around to suits his needs, Man needs to make up his own term. It was made by him, so we must abide by the rules he has bound to it. By allowing gay couples to marry we are trashing God's holy term of marriage. Again, I have no problem with Gays being together, just do not use God's word of marriage.
So what to do with the gays?
Let them have some sort of union, make up a damn word for it for all I care, just do not use the word marriage. Again use a "Civil Union" or "Domestic Partnership" or something creative. And also make them share the same benefits and protected by the same laws as a regular marriage.
Yes I know not everyone is christian so not everyone will agree with me since I brought my religion to it, but now maybe you know why one Christian had to hear to vote yes on prop 8.

I'm just curious, then - are okay with non-Christians getting a non-religious "marriage" but rejecting God as part of the relationship?
they usually have them at beaches n stuff.
I know not all of them, but just my theory...
As for if I am okay with it? Theoretically no, since they're not following it by bible's definition.
But because they have the separation of church and state, it is never going to change.
Im not saying dont let non-christians marry, just make up a new word?
Marriage was a term invented by god, and us men just transformed it from a holy union into a world wide tradition. Its never going to stop.

From my understanding, not type or marriages dont happen at churches, thus God not being present, not that they care...
they go to like beaches n stuff.
