Hmm well let me see... to actually see all people in society in ALL countries come together as one and stop the way the world is heading. Meaning... senseless blacks killing blacks in gang activities, to see all the senseless muggings, rapes, kidnappings, and beatings stopped. No more diseases, no more bigotry, or hate. To be able to go to bed at night and NOT have to lock my doors, windows, and worry about someone coming in to my house. To be able to drive down any street in any place in the world and never find a homeless or hungry person. This is just a start but I could go on and on....

It's called faith, BearNVa, and you obviously lack enough knowledge and personal experience to have it.

Are you answering my question, or responding to QUIKAG?

So, you're implying that God should eliminate all the problems in this world before you believe He exists? It would behoove you to read up on the Bible and figure out for yourself why the world is the way that it is. At that point, you can make an educated decision about whether to believe in God or not.

Frankly, I'd be surprised if that were true. I suspect that if God were to cause all that to happen, most athiests would not see that as proof (physical or otherwise) of God's existence.
Would you honestly say, if that were to happen, that the only possible explanation for it was the existence (and, obviously, pointed intervention) of God? If not, I submit that you would find an explanation you found more reasonable and stick with that.
A young man was driving to the job interview of a lifetime: his dream job. Unfortunately, he was running late, and he couldn't find a parking place. As he circled the block, time ticking away, he desperately turned to prayer.
"God, I know that I have never prayed before, have never gone to church, and really don't believe in you. But I need this job, and I need to find a place to park. If you give me a parking place I'll quit drinking and smoking, I'll never swear again, and I'll attend church every Sunday, and Wednesday evenings as well." He was practically in tears.
As he rounds the corner for the twentieth time, a car pulls out of a parking place directly in front of him.
"Never mind, God, I found one!"
Sorry to have gotten the thread off topic but it always seems to come back to religion when having these types of discussions. It kind of saddens me that people can't be different without being condemned or segregated.

I've seen close friends shot and killed at point blank range. I've had friends as healthy as you and me go down the drain with brain cancer become bed ridden and die within 3 months. Whether or not I have "FAITH" will not bring these people back nor will it stop it from happening again.

Faith is not stopping the hatred that some feel toward homosexuals, blacks, whites, hispanics, asians, or mexicans. So faith serves what purpose?
Are you going to stop believing in money?
