Man, there really sux.... I can't believe that they are claiming it's your fault. That's just wrong!

I had brand new S2000 wheels and tires shipped to my from Delaware and they were damaged during shipping. The spokes were scratched to hell, and one front wheel has small dent holes on the spokes. Each wheel was insured for $500, and UPS is coming next week to inspect them. I always use FedEx Ground, and have had good luck so far. I have also heard all those UPS stories from X employees.

 

DON'T GIVE UP ON IT!!! If you had shipped three machines previously, make them look up those shipping records and make a case that the machines had all been packed in the exact same manner. Make a fuss! I had a record player that I shipped for an ebay sale about two years ago. It was a really nice one. It was professionaly packed: double boxed with peanuts in between the two boxes. It was a $70 packing job. UPS inspected and said "insufficient packing". Same thing they always say. Its their general "out". DO NOT let them get away with it. After a huge fight, I got my insurance money on the record player.

 

they're suppose to come to my house to reinspect it, but they never called back. this was last week. so i called them last night and they said someone will call me back today. i'm thinking about go to the better business bureau soon. sorry about the bitching, but this really suck....

 

Take them to small claims court. You will probably win and can then put a lien on their warehouse if they don't pay. They're laughing at you. Go get 'em!
