Just for a little insight. I did purchase some stuff from a member back east (im in so cali) and i mailed the check out around the same time as your guy claimed to have and my check has already been received.

Its a shame for this to happen and I do hope that this guy steps up and handles this like a mature adult. Theives are the bottomfeeders of our society. Karma is a bitch though, they all get what they deserve.

Dave - Perhaps just the threat of getting your lawyer involved will work. You might not have to actually do it. Can you wait and see a bit longer?

 

I have no more patience. Obviously, I can't get with my attorney on this until next week. And in the meantime...who knows, perhaps he's reimbursement will arrive and just have been somehow late (and I...somehow...overreactive). But I'm done with all of this. If thieves are the "bottomfeeders of society"...we'll God created Lawyers to deal with them. What that says of lawyers, I'll not get into...but I'm glad my attorney is willing to take care of this for me.

Dave -- hold off on the lawyer for the time being, and file a complaint with the FBI for fraud. The Internet Fraud Complaint Center is here: http://www.ifccfbi.gov/ . You can file the complaint online. Hopefully the threat of Federal charges will get the little sh!t motivated. I'm not sure I buy his MO pics. Notice that you don't see 2 MO's in the same pic -- just parts of one, and you never see any unique identification numbers from one pic to the next. I'd bet it's just a few pics of the same $200 MO. And where are the pics of the check he wrote for the other $40? Time to turn it over to the law. Hopefully he gets what he deserves!
