Is iPhone worth buying?

I only have limited 3G service and I live in a metro area. ATT's rollout has been weak sauce at best.

Yeah, Google didn't turn up the latest links (the issues are exactly the same today). Steve Jobs talked about battery life in March 08 again in regards to 3G. The new phone will likely come in August, a month after the 2.0 firmware update but Apple is fond of secrets and surprises so its anyone's guess (and that's all it is for now). 3G is not ready but the SDK is out now for developers.

I don't know of any avid iPhone owner more interested in 3G than the SDK at this point. The phone does not have Flash, it can't download files from the web browser, and only streams YouTube. What does 3G really add until the phone has more Internet options? Hell, I'd trade 3 years of waiting for 3G to get easy copy and paste...
