Now that AT&T Wireless is going to merge with Cingular...
Does that mean I get rollover minutes? And it seems Cingluar's weak coverage areas are AT&T's strong coverage areas and vice versa, so I hope in the long term it'll work out better for me - GSM is nice all over the world except home!
Well, I dont know but if they do merge, I may just keep AT&T. I live in a dead zone for both ATT and many other coverage plans. I dont get the GSM phones or service. Hell, we just got switched to Digital!!!
I read that because Cingular bought out ATT, they hope that by the end of this year, their customers will have a better signal then Verizon. They are now supposed to be the largest cellular provider.
Overall, I think this is a good thing for AT&T Wireless...but, then again, when a company sucks as bad as they have ANYTHING is an improvement.
I've actually been waiting for about 2 years for Cingular to make their move. They've been in talks off and on for close to 3 years...

Yeah, I've been stuck with AT&T for about 5 years. Damn everytime I upgraded my contract, they stuck me in for another 2 years!!! Even one time I was talkin on teh pphone about my service, the customer rep said he couldnt hear me because my phone kept breaking up...I said "EXACTLY!!!"
