You have to post back and tell us what it was like please.
Green speed, rough, length, clubs you hit etc.
I would forever be in your debt.

I'll even try to take pics. I'm a self-admitted hacker but I'll try to play respectably.

So you enjoy a tournament with 100 players entered and watching predominantly one players shots? Even when he is 7 shots out of the lead?
You enjoy watching highlights of Tigers previous shots while he is playing head to head?
You enjoy listening to his deceased father in a commercial tell you that his son (whom he once was quoted as saying would have as great an impact on humanity as Jesus) is the toughest person mentally in the world?
You enjoy watching him grimace in pain (lol) on bad shots but not on good ones? Or watching a man with an excrutiatingly painful knee, drop to both of them when he misses a putt? lol
You like watching him mouth '****' or 'g--damnit' whenever he misses a shot? Will you enjoy watching your son do the same? He is the most fined pro ever in this regard.
You enjoy watching him throw his clubs to the ground in disgust? Will you enjoy watching your child do the same?
You enjoy watching him walk off the green after he putts knowing the gallery will blindly follow him which will disrupt the concentration of his fellow player? (he has been called on this repeatedly by the way)
You enjoy his abismal (sp) record in the Ryder Cup? When by the way he is playing for his country and not himself?
You enjoy his fist pumping and chest beating when he makes a putt? If you were in my 4-some I would drop kick you and if he were your child you would chastise him.
Perhaps you enjoy turning on the golf channel and watching TIger Tuesday or Tiger's top tens or going online and watching every shot Tiger made in the Open?
Or maybe you are driving an Allure just like Tiger does? lol
Or maybe you enjoy knowing on Sunday that if he isn't in the lead, he has never come from behind to win a major?

Tiger is great. Of that there is no doubt. But...he has no great players today to be compared against. He has been crammed down our throats by the media to the point where most golfers I know don't watch golf nearly as much as before, however he is the darling of people who do not golf! I find this ironic.

Oh and by the way...IMHO Tiger won the open for one simple reason, his length off the tee. And his record on the par 5's bears this out.
- Yes, I like watching the best player in the world.
- Yes
- Yes (It was fathers day BTW...)
- Maybe the shots were bad due to his knee acting up on those shots. I did wonder why he could drop to both knees no problem though.
- I don't mind the cussing. Hes just bringing a little passion to the sport. Write a littler to the camera men to have them focus more on the shot and not his reaction.
- Yes, club throwing is quite amusing.
- Its his fault people pay attention to him?
- What is his Ryder Cup record? I honestly don't follow that close.
- I don't mind the fist pumping either. If I were playing in a tourny where the winner got 1.35 million, I'd beat on my chest for making a sick shot that put me closer to that prize.

I heard one of the announcers say that the tees were forward yesterday which gives the advantage to Rocco since it would normall take him 3 strokes to reach the gree on a par 5 where it would normall take Tiger 2. I appreciate your opinion, but some of those comments sound like my 80 year old grandma is talking.

lol
And most of the pins were on the right side of the greens favouring Tiger...Rocco plays a draw. And for the record I never said the playoff flags or tees were in any way set up to favour either player. I am only responding to your post.

I am glad you noticed the knee though.

You should listen more to your grandma...damn kids!

For you Scot, I'd consider it. I'll even pour mustard or spaghetti sauce down the front for added effect.

I don't see how you can say that we can't call him a great player because there's no one great for him to play against. Half of those players are very good but Tiger just makes them look human.

Just because there is only one truly great player now (Tiger) doesn't make him less of a great player. Anyone that can leave for six or eight weeks and win a major in his first tournament back is a great player, period.

Great players are rare and if you have two or three at a time, that's a major event. Usually, you honestly only have one, maybe two, in any given five or ten year span.

His caddie, on the other hand, is a real douchebag and I can't stand him immensely.
Say what you want about Tiger, some people love him, some hate him, everyone has to respect his ability, but I've yet to meet a single person who has ever come into contact with Stevie and didn't want to shoot him in the face.

I was lucky enough to go Saturday, eventhough I had passes to go all weekend and Monday. It was great seeing him in person and put on one hell of a show. I saw Rocco also but I didn't even know who he was..I kept pronouncing his name me-di-a-te..lol
