135 on a Suzuki Hayabusa

 

150mph in as a passenger in my friends Integra Type R. Car felt very stable and had a few hundred rpms left on the tach.

 

240km/h, I gave up after 240km/h although the car is still pulling hard

 

In My S 105

Many, Many years ago in my 1977 Firebird 400 engine 4 bbl carb 140 mph. I was young and had no fear

 

137 in my Corrado VR6.

Another time, my friend was driving and had the cruise control set at 120mph.

Damn that car was rock solid at speed.

 

163 in VTR1000.
140 in S2k with top down.

 

201Mph in a GB110.

 

165 and accelerating in my Fastrax T-51 Supra...uh on a test track in Mexico. I was racing a modded white R-33 skyline which I hear had 550hp, although at the time the owner said it was stock...yeah right. We had to shut down or we would run into the vettes in front of us which took off about 10 sec sooner.

278 km/h in the S top up, on a steep downhil part of the motorway.
250 km/h in my MB 500E, measured using a garmin GPS, the spedo read 265 km/h.

Btw my spedometer in the Honda was measured recently with the following results:

50=50
90=90
120=121

I had about the same when I used a GPS to check the precision of the speedo, I did 258 Kmh on the clock in Germany.

So why is the max speed published 241 Kmh ??
