so one of my headlights went out last week and i figured it was the bulb so i ordered new ones from js2k.com. went to go change it out and this is what i find.



sorry for the bad iphone photo. but apparently the wires fell down and have been rubbing on the tire. i tried fixing it up and then the headlight would flicker on that one side. also for the duration of the flickering, the high beam bulbs would turn on but be dim.

i for the life of me can't seem to figure out the problem.

 

just match the wires... you should be good. shrink wrap them and tuck the wire real good so it doesnt rubb..

 

just cut out the part or the wire thats exposed and looks frayed in the pic and sauder the wires together again cleanly

 

ill try soldering. i tried completing the connection and thats what got the lights flickering. anyone wanna help me? haha. i got tomorrow (thursday) off work

 

put those fender liners back on..

 

 

so i cleaned up all the wires, checked for voltage and continuity on all the wires and it's still flickering. im starting to think its the ballast
